I was in the library reading Jane Austen's Lady Susan. When I was slightly more than halfway through, I got tired. I decided to search for some books on China's history.
I took a quick round around the shelves but I couldn't find anything so I started going through everything slowly, shelf by shelf. Then I realised some guy following me and no, I wasn't thinking too much. After a while, he up to me, "Excuse me," and shows me his phone. I don't know what model it was but it was an outdated nokia phone. I glanced at the phone and it said something happy chinese new year, I'm kelvin, I'll like to get to know you.
Yes, roll your eyes now, please.
What kind of a loser uses a phone, in a library, in the chinese section to try to get to know someone?
Seriously, what kind of vibe do I give out?
Stupid strangers like these always approach me! Just this morning, on the bus, some old man started at me for a whole good 30 seconds! I should had threatened to gorge his eyeballs out!
Augh, like things are not bad enough.
