went for teacher's day celebration in school today. wahhhh it was horrendously boring. like some singapore idol rendition. the concert merely revolved around songs songs and more songs. people were shrieking into the mike! - let's just say our school sound system is a tad pathetic.but there was this j1 girl whose efforts were commendable:) her voice was kinda clear, soothing and stuff. really nice.
yixuan and jia baked yummy cookies. and siusing was busy handling out his, so he proclaimed, most precious item to teachers. (by the way, there were hershey's cookies and creme.)went to the canteen for our lil picnic after that. mr lim was once again, hilarous. he was goin on about how he helped composed our sch song and how the song was meant to end with lik an array of fireworks display everytime we sing it. well, you know that part of our school song.. which goes: " meridians yes we will be, the best..." . than, boom boom boom! ~fireworks~ -.-
well, our beloved ct.
went shopping with ahbah and cheryl after that.
our prom dress!!!!!!! whee. we went to this shop which claims to have custom made dresses. there were all so pretty and COSTLY.
cheryl looked really pretty in this gold with black trimmings dress. but hell, it was over 300 bucks! ahbah looked brilliant in this purple halter too- so much so that she took secretly took self protraits. lol. i quite like this beige one.
hopefully the shopkeepers empathize our pathetic state and offer greater discounts:)
well, guess we'll go back there some day. time to save; for now.

see, technology is pure annoyance.
i never seem to enjoy any of their seemingly wondrous advancements. yet, their extremely entrenched nature has become part of our everyday life.
let's just hope we will not be slaved by technology one day.
well, you see, i'm not particularly blessed with the knowledge to deal with those complex tools. so i'm sounding kinda like s sore loser, or something like that.

Sure I've thought about it before (when I believed in fairytales) but later I figured I couldn't possibly spend my entire life with someone else and not go crazy in boredom and finally insane. Then sometime back, kungpaokitty blogged about some author's interpretation of a kind of love that 'grows with routine, compromise, patience and acceptance, and not something that happens in a moment.' That swayed me a little. Just a little.
In case you are wondering why Joanne (or is it Scarlett) is talking about some kind of love and if she is in love... NO. Just thinking about nonsense only. Heh heh heh.

yesterday
i had the best dinner ever.
lihuan cherly sharon neha claratan wanjie nas nad jieyi!
i didnt know i missed pb so much, i didnt know we could possibly have so much fun over dinner- until last night. forget about the horrendous queue ( it took us an hour to get into pizzahut!) every single minute was worthwhile(: and to prove my point, we stayed at pizza hut till half past ten.
well. so wanjie loves her aussie edu. indeed, she is much more prosperous(or so she claims) now. but no, deep inside, she hasnt changed(:
we talked so much. at the top of our voices, laughing our heads off, and everything was brillaint. as always, we remnisiced the past- johara's 30cm ruler, ms lui's queeeeen! , mr yap corniness("girls do you need help? have no fear for mr yap is here!" *roll eyes, please*), pubs cross-talking habits, lopez bras, everythign anything. and we met mdm hassan! she was so friggin hilarious; insulting neha and ranting on about how she was mistaken, god forbid, for being a student.
and you know, i really felt so happy.
being in a girls' school was so much fun. nobody had to worry about what others think, and as cheryl puts it, everythign was so carefree la. it didnt matter who you hang out with, almost everyone was nice to everyone. there were hardly any cliques.
perhaps i'm overgeneralization, but i miss those days.
i miss those days badly.
